We are excited to announce new additions to our Oak HC/FT family with the arrival of Charlotte Smith as Healthcare Senior Associate, Alana Bremner as Director of Marketing and Communications, Stephen Dierks as Associate Director of Talent, and Olga Malyshka as Director of Finance. These four new team members bring fantastic experience and join Oak HC/FT at an instrumental time as we pursue new investments and drive success with our portfolio companies.

Charlotte Smith joins our Healthcare team with terrific perspective as both a prior venture investor and company founder. Earlier in her career, Charlotte founded eir.health, a LGBTQ+ healthcare service aimed to meet users where they are through their digital health services. She also spent time at Lightyear Capital, where she was responsible for evaluating and executing new Healthcare Financial Services investment opportunities. Earlier, she worked at MBF Healthcare Partners.

Although new to the Oak HC/FT team, Alana Bremner had been working with us as a communications consultant for four years while at Edelman. She joins us in-house with a strong back ground in Healthcare PR and communications experience. We’re excited to welcome her to the team as we continue to grow our marketing and communications activities for our firm and portfolio companies.

Stephen Dierks joins our talent team with deep experience in helping growth and venture-backed companies strengthen their executive management teams across all key functional areas. He joins us from Daversa Partners, a leading executive search firm, where he helped companies like Nexthink, Relatient, Plaid, Dataminr, Hubspot, and Root build out their leadership benches. Earlier, Stephen worked for Viacom and NBCUniversal in programming and marketing roles.

Olga Malyshka joins us from Barings, LLC where she was recently an accounting director in Private Equity and Real Assets. In that role, she was responsible for managing Barings ’monthly/quarterly portfolio company closes to ensure all transactions were properly recorded and analyzed. Earlier, Olga worked in auditing at Deloitte& Touche, LLP for Financial Services and Investment Management.
